William Biederwolf
1867 – 1939

WILLIAM BIEDERWOLF was converted to Christ at the age of twenty. After extensive education in universities in France, Germany, and Princeton, he was ordained at thirty years of age. After three years in the pastorate and one year as an army chaplain, he began a life of evangelistic work that lasted thirty-five years.

He preached in America and around the world and established a leper home in Korea in 1920. In 1923 he established the Winona Lake Assembly in Winona Lake, Indiana.

After his active work in evangelism, he devoted his remaining years to pastoring in Florida and also to writing.

He was the author of many books, among which were The Millennium Bible; The Wonderful Christ; The Growing Christian; and The Whipping Post Theology.
